Hey Guys! LG! Yep! I'm in debt for 60 Grand with one click of the mouse! Yaaas! Hey but my Uni Degree is only the cost of a new SUV, not a house! Besides, after 4 years of study and being super-poor, I'm guaranteed a job, right? No such luck! I have to find my own place in the workforce. But it's really who you know, right? Not what you know?
What am I studying? Engineering Honours, of course! More Maths and Physics! Yeah, team! Trouble is ... I've forgotten what I've learnt in High School after 3 months of non-stop gaming, relaxing and partying. Probs the best and longest holiday I'll have in my entire life! But alas, it had to come to an end sometime! Now, it's back to studying and doing exams and assignments! Group Meetings at the Uni Bar and Cafe off-set the relentless mental work and commuting!
Seriously, guys! Uni is so much better than school. Sure, you've got to be self-motivated in time management but you don't have to go 5 days a week and you can capture lectures on line if you don't feel like going or are sick. Bonus! I always get the flu in winter for about 2 months so it's got to be a better way to go this year.
Food-wise, I've actually started eating Subway. Branching out, you know after Mum nagging me to thinking more about a balanced diet. The thing is with all the extra walking I'm often starving so I've started taking a water bottle and some snacks with me. Mum's stopped making my lunches. Bummer! But hey, she warned me. I'm a man now and I have to take care of myself! I still stop off for a ham and pineapple pizza and Chicken nuggets and fries! Hey, they're my staples that keep me going. Oh and cereal, noodles, milk and Milo. Mum still cooks dinner every night and puts everything in Chinese plastic containers as we all eat at different times now. That way, I always have one meal of meat, vegetables, rice or pasta. Thanks, Mum!
There are all guys in my course so I can't get distracted by chicks and as fate would have it, I know 6 guys going to my Uni from school or sporting teams - a ready-made groups which makes it so much easier! Yeah! Until next time, Cheers! Victor.
