My Recent Camping Trip

Hey Guys! It's Victor here. I’ve just been 

camping on Bribie Island with my Dad 

and bro, Freddie for three days. Dad 

borrowed his bro’s utility truck so we

could take the new portable fridge, big

cooler, camping gear and fishing rods. The

Ute had a bench seat. Because I’m thin,

I had to sit in the middle with my legs

either side of the gear stick. It made the

two hour drive very uncomfortable.

We drove up to the isolated northern end

of Bribie Island along the white sandy beach 


where the campsite Dad booked was 


situated. Though Dad and Freddie like fishing,


it’s not my thing. I like to swim in the ocean.


 Mum wasn’t too happy that we all got 


sunburnt but we had fun even without a computer!

Dad cooked eggs, sausages, vegetable soup

and spaghetti on the camp stove. We also

ate fresh fruit, cereal and milk and drank water.

On the way home, we stopped at a fast food

Restaurant. I ordered six chicken nuggets, fries

and a drink. Yum!

As it was Summer, I kept my Epi-pen/ Ana-pen

in the fridge the whole time. It was very hot

and Mum said that heat can affect the Adrenaline.

I never needed it anyway.
