Before launching a career in romance writing, I worked as a School Dental Therapist for 14 years before having 2 children of my own. While my children embraced school, I became a Teacher Aide in Education Support. They were my day jobs.
From the age of 27, when I picked up my first Mills & Boon, I was hooked on reading and writing romance. My night job ensued - crafting & writing sensual romances. Highly imaginative and creative, I also wrote screenplays - Romantic Comedies & Sci-Fi's and made a couple of short films along the way.
Having travelled extensively throughout Australia and the world with my husband to whom I has been married to for 39 incredible years, my stories feature daring, passionate heroines, children, animals & strong, Alpha males who want it all!
I believe my lucky breaks came when I was mentored by Helen Bianchin, Harlequin Sexy Romance Author & patron of the Gold Coast Writers Groups for ten years; Roger Dunn, Author, Film & Television Script Writer/ Editor and Managing Director of QED Productions for six years; & Marion Lennox, Harlequin Medical, Sweet & Sexy Romance Author after finalising in the RWA (Aust) 5DI Mentorship Program in 2012. Recently, I earned a placement on the WOW Brisbane TV Script Intensive Masterclass with former BBC Creative Director, Kate Rowland. I upgraded my Australian TV Drama Skills in a QWC Masterclass Clinic with Matchbox Pictures Development Executive, Anthony Mullins. A keen follower of the lives of the young royals around the globe, I am currently writing a Royal Romance Trilogy - The Young Royal of Marseillania.
