At the ripe old age of 108 in human years, Penny Reiki Master takes good karma into her next life through her good heart, compassion and wisdom. I have read that spiritually evolved animals can reincarnate into human form in their next life. Lama Zopa Rinpoche gives an account of this occurring in his book, "Virtue and Reality"(2012). I'm sure Penny will let us know if this does happen to her. Shortly after Penny passed, she came to us in the form of a wild white cockatoo with a golden yellow crest. The bird's calm presence was unusual for a wild one and cockatoo usually stay in flocks. It spoke to us and answered our questions. Using mental telepathy, I understood the wild speak of the bird. Penny had passed over the rainbow bridge smoothly, swiftly and happy to be free of her old, ailing body. This sign from her helped my family and I with healing our grief. We were blessed to have her for over 15 dog years as part of our family. I only need to look in my heart and she is there.

Easter Penny likes to spend Easter with her family and toys. The real Easter Bunny brings her tennis balls instead of chocolate eggs as chocolate can makes her sick. She likes to juggle, play football/ soccer, chase and catch her tennis balls.

How Penny became a Reiki Master when she was a puppy is a funny story. As the sun was setting in the backyard, my Reiki Master was about to activate my healing qualities. As I sat in serenity on a chair from the kitchen, Penny launched herself, landed smack-bang on my lap and wouldn't budge. Needless, to say, Penny being a short-legged breed, had never been able to jump up on anyone's lap. She was a front-paws-on-the-knee-with-a-hopeful-look-and-a-whimper-kind-of-dog.

Astonished, my Reiki Master asked her Ascended Masters what to do. Apparently Penny was meant to receive the activations too. A short time later, Penny became Penny Reiki Master.

That night, when my husband arrived home from work, Penny Reiki Master lay on the mat in a serene pose with her front paws crossed.

"What's wrong with her?" he immediately asked. He was used to her doing the front-paws-on-the-knee-excited-to-see-your-home-thing.

I strolled over and picked up Penny Reiki Master, then sat back down. Penny Reiki Master held her front jaws out, still crossed and gave a serene gaze. "Meet Grasshopper. Penny became a Reiki Master today."

My husband shook his head in belief. 

Since that day, her manner has been serene and she lays her front paws on the family, calming and healing all of us.
